You have to stay here if you visit Hilo. Positive: Such a homey atmosphere. The staff was beyond nice and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The animals were lovely to hear every day and were fun to watch. Our room and the community areas were spacious and had everything we needed. So glad we did not stay in the heart of Hilo, here you could enjoy the beauty of the island and still quickly get to places around Hilo in a timely manner.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and fun! Amazing views, you can see ships and planes come and go. Positive: Amazing place run by lovely people. Owners have poured their heart and soul into this property. So much attention to detail. So spacious; loved all the timber and the handcrafting and decorating, the koi fishpond under the entry floor; each room has a different theme. Super comfy bed, and huge bathroom. Massive kitchen and loungeroom on each floor, with everything you need in a kitchen. They even have some snorkel gear you can borrow, which we did. Stunning views from the lanai and lounge area, and it's an easy drive from the town. I highly recommend this place and I would come back again. It really is 10/10. Negative: I couldn't find anything to fault! They even had some black face washers marked "makeup" so you don't need to worry about staining face washers! Amazing! The only thing I would add because it's just something I like, is to have an iron and ironing board in the room (there was a great storage cupboard in the bathroom that had plenty of room for that). But I love that there was plenty of hanging space and several chests of drawers, way more storage than I have at home!!

Peaceful and restoritive. Positive: Kevin and Sue were very friendly. For most of stay, we were the only people at the place. Great, laid back feeling. Negative: Not much
