Top Floor Ocean View Under the Sea Room King with En-Suite

The experience here is far exceeded expectations! Positive: A brief summary: the experience here is far exceeded expectations! I will recommend this place to every friend heading to Hilo. I believe Booking missed some key details about this place, such as its location on a high point with excellent views for sun rise. The B&B has two floors, each with only three rooms, and a very large common area in the middle—including a living room, dining area, and game room—which makes for a wonderful stay. The place has a rustic luxury feel, and full of owner’s taste and love. It’s nothing like those hastily set-up, roughly finished B&B. They have a quiet hours rule starting at 10:00 pm—and everyone actually followed it. With only three rooms in total, there aren’t many people to begin with, so nights were dead quiet. The only sound I ever heard was the occasional snore from the next room.lol In addition, Josh is a great host. He responds to messages promptly and helps with any issues you might have. The $15 breakfast he offers is, in my opinion, excellent value for the local area.

A great place to stay when visiting the Hilo side of the island. Positive: Everything! We were on top floor, ocean view. Sunrise was amazing. Josh, our host was very attentive. Amenities for joint use were great..our floor; large living area, well stocked kitchen, game room , outdoor areas. Spa on lower level was a nice feature as well . Negative: We pretty much had it to ourselves…could hear voices when someone was in closest room, but not terrible.

This was by far our favorite accommodations on the Big Island. The ocean view was amazing. Positive: We loved the unique room, common areas, and overall farm setting. Our host was amazing and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He even picked some limes for us to try. 😁 Negative: Everything was excellent! No complaints at all.
